Hi James, how are you doing ? What was one actually doing in the Mojave Desert with only just a knife?, the thought did terrify me! I did get the trilogy DVD boxset for my Birthday! Just promise me one thing James, that I won't cry when I watch them ? Probably will when I see the one of Race across America when you end up in Hospital after the crash! I am an obese middle-aged woman who loves your trilogy. Whenever I don't want to exercise or do my silly little 45 minute walk, I watch you struggle accross the dessert for a few minutes and then get off of my backside, go out and get moving. Plagued with both injury and weight related joint issues my motto is be bold! be fierce! be hardcore! take a four hour nap... this seemed to work for you after your crossing of Death Valley so who am I to argue with the training technique of a world class athlete- after all, I am only trying to walk a marathon, not cross a continent. thank you very much for the inspiration!Jennifer

just want to say that i loved the trilogy. i hope you will be doing more soon.i was so inspired by them that i myself will be doing a challenge next year, i will be riding from southport to hornsea along the trans pennine trail. the record is 35 hours 10 mins but i aim to do it under 24 hours on june 21st.matthew shewan
